Portland Landscape Companies

Portland Landscape Companies – 2019

Comparing ‘Portland Landscape Companies’ in our Urban Metro Area is tricky. With 2019 underway, there are hundreds of landscape companies to choose from. How do you make a choice between them all? What makes one different than all the rest?

Recognizing What Each Landscape Company Specializes In

The tricky part lies in recognizing what each landscape company specializes in. All landscape companies have an expertise. And not every landscaper is a perfect fit for every kind of project. Even a good company with the best intentions at heart will have a conflict constructing an outdoor living space if they are better known for water gardens. These photos by Premier Backyard Living show distinct preferences in landscape design elements. Some Wear Many Hats Very Well

Some of the larger landscape companies in the Portland Metro area wear many hats and design all types and styles of landscapes. Like 7 Dees or Landscape East & West whose skilled crews build some great fences and screens. Portlanders have tons of options.

Other companies have a specialty niche they’ve carved for themselves. Therefore, you’ll need information to help direct your investment as January approaches. The best way to learn about an industry is to look at performers in each category.  Decide what area fits your needs. Inclination for a garden venue, outdoor living room, sports court and family firepit, or swim spa with the works? Check out these properties shown below. Childress, Shriver, Hidalgo, & Talwalker

#1 Outdoor Living Spaces – Outdoor Design

If you’re thinking outdoor living space, you’ll want a company with top-notch designers. When considering pools, swim spas, and custom wood structures with fireplace walls – you’ll want industry experts with solid design plans. Performance and quality of execution is at the top of the list and you’ll want info on installation, crews and project communication.

HGTV recognized Premier Backyard Living Landscaping as a Top Landscape Designer not only in the Portland, Oregon area but across the Country in 2018. Cozy outdoor living room with infrared heat lampsI originally wrote to Micah asking questions about his Roth property project. I was searching photographs of outdoor projects similar to our design. Our project is about to get started and we are down to a few more details which we need to decide. What I saw on the photos of the Roth project appeared to be very close to our hopes. I took note that the location out west (Oregon) and we live on the east coast (Pennsylvania), so I wasn’t certain I would get a response, but decided to try anyway.

I first contacted him via Houzz and to my surprise he responded by calling me back and leaving a voicemail. I, in turn, called him back and we spoke on the phone. I explained our project to Micah and asked him about some of the dimensions of his Roth project. Micah eagerly responded and had no problem talking with me about the project and a few more questions I had.

Needless to say I was very impressed that he would take the time to respond to me and also discuss my project and his already completed project. He did this while knowing he would really not benefit from sharing his time and knowledge with someone he most likely will never do business with. I really appreciated him taking time to contact me and also talk to me about this. I wish Micah and his co-workers continued good luck with their business! Thanks again, Dave Clemens
